Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy is the removal of varicose veins in the leg without surgery. Veins are flexible and collapse easily, and even some large veins can be removed through small nicks in the skin. Microphlebectomy is often done to complement ablation.  Microphlebectomy can not only offer symptomatic relief, but also help make you feel more comfortable in the appearance of your legs.

Treatment

Microphlebectomy is the removal of existing varicose veins through micro-incisions. The incisions are tiny and leave little to no marks on the skin. No stitches are required in this procedure. This in-office procedure is the most direct way to get rid of varicose veins, removing the problem vein(s) from the body altogether through the incision and causing blood to begin rerouting through deeper veins.
